Age Action is offering free beginner computer classes for the over 55’s in Malahide Library from Tuesday, 27th October until Tuesday, 17th November from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
The classes are for older people who have little or no computer experience (or for the absolutely terrified). The aim of the Getting Started programme is to introduce people to the basics of computers, internet and email.
Classes are taught by volunteers on a one-to-one basis in a relaxed, non-formal setting.
Age Action is looking for both students and those who might be interested in tutoring the over 55’s on a voluntary basis.
