The Malahide Community Forum is the umbrella group for all the residents’ associations in Malahide (Co. Dublin, Ireland), of which there are over twenty. We act as a watchdog and take action on behalf of the residents when issues arise which are likely to affect the residents of Malahide as a whole. Your local residents’ association should deal with issues specific to your street or estate.
We are concerned with the social, cultural, educational, environmental and economic well-being of our community. We address issues that might threaten this well-being. These include issues like planning of major developments, access and transport within the area, services, and safety of residents. When problems arise, or are threatened, we represent the interests of residents to the relevant authorities, such as the County Council, the Gardaí, transport companies and other service providers.
