Water Shut off in parts of Malahide Wednesday 19 June

We have been advised by FCC that water will be shut off from 8pm tonight, Wednesday 19 June, until 7am Thursday in some parts of Malahide.  Areas affected as follows:

We have just received confirmation that the following works will be carried out by the contractor tonight on Dublin Road, Swords watermain scheme.   Water shut off will be from 8pm to 7am on Thursday 20th June.

Works on Dublin St, Swords on Wednesday -Thursday 19th -20th June 2013

As part of the current watermain works being carried out on Dublin Street Swords, the contractor will be carrying out “tie ins” and transfer of services to the new watermain tonight.  To facilitate this work it will be necessary to shut the water off to some areas.  This shut off is expected to commence at 8pmwith water expected back on by7am on Thursday 20th June.

The following areas will be affected by this water outage:

Swords Area:  Swords Main Street, North Street, Spittal Hill, Feltrim, Kinsealy, Holywell, Malahide Road (to Campion’s Pub, Balgriffin) Foxwood, Drynan, Kettles Lane.

Malahide Area:  Estuary Road, Seabury, Ard na Mara, Yellow Walls area, Malahide Road (Swords), Malahide Castle, The Hill in Malahide, Gainsborough, Abington, Castle Heath, Feltrim, Killeen.

We apologise for any inconvenience to consumers in these areas.

The one way system from Pinnock Hill to Swords Village currently in place will be lifted on Friday afternoon 21st June, allowing traffic coming from Pinnock Hill direction to access Swords Village and other roads off it.
