We have been contacted by several residents who are concerned that Malahide Post Office could close and the facility move to Tesco. The Forum has contacted the Public Affairs Manager of An Post who assures us that there is no possibility of the closure of our local Post Office. He confirmed, “considerable welcome investment in the services provided by An Post at Malahide recently took place, having moved from Townyard Lane into the Malahide Shopping Centre, a much larger, more user friendly environment for customers and staff alike. I am therefore, happy to confirm that there is no threat to Malahide Post Office”.
