Fingal County Council has Recycling Centres at Mantua Road, Swords (under the M1 viaduct), and in Coolmine Industrial Estate, Dublin 15.
Before making a visit please note the following points:
- Household refuse will not be accepted
- Please avoid bringing children to the Centres
- Staff are not permitted to assist customers to lift items
- Public toilet facilities are not available
Opening Hours:
The Coolmine Recycling Centre is open from 9am to 4pm (last vehicle entry 3.45pm) from Monday to Saturday. It is closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
The Estuary Recycling Centre is open from 8am to 8pm from Monday to Friday, (last vehicle entry 7.30pm) and from 8am to 6pm on Saturday (last vehicle entry 5.30). It is closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Please note: During bad weather, the recycling centres may have to close for health and safety reasons.
FCC also operates a construction/demolition waste recycling facility and provides recycling bring banks throughout the county. Bring banks in Malahide are located at Malahide beach car park, Malahide Bridge Club, Malahide Castle car park. Recycling facilities at Mantua Road and Coolmine accept the following: Green, brown & clear glass, aluminium cans, newspapers and magazines, plastics, car batteries, clothes, white electrical goods WEEE (e.g. fridges), wood and cardboard.
