meanwhile, fingal coc continue to give planning permission to areas in our supposed green belt, and people will continue to purchase houses under the known flight paths in Malahide….look at planning permission along the Dublin road, probable planning permission at collen’s property, and also at haugheys property at kinsealy! i have no problems with the flight paths as we have been aware of them for at least 10 years. but why to people purchase property under the flight paths and then complain?
The issues highlighted here are in relation to breach of the planning permission granted for the North Runway. The planning permission was for 65 flight movements a night , they have been significantly breached hence the enforcement notice. Secondly the environmental impact of the new runway was assessed from a noise perspective based on different flight paths to the ones used since the North Runway was opened. In this instance what was agreed and understood from the granting of planning by ABP and what is being operated is different.
